Kublai Khan will be the Best Emperor China Has ever
had
Molly Munger
In 1279 Kublai Khan became the first non-Chinese
Emperor of the Yuan Dynasty. He took over his grandfather, Chinggis Qan’s job
as a leader. It benefits the people of China because they are in the hands of a
new leader who will hopefully follow in his grandfather’s foot steps.
One
reason why Khan will make a good leader is because Kublai Khan was the first
Mongol ruler throughout all of China. A new type of ruler will bring new ideas
to China. Another reason why he would make a great leader is because he is
taking over his grandfather’s job and everyone says that he was a great ruler
of the Yuan Dynasty. One last reason that he would be a good leader is because
the Mongols were very tolerant of the Chinese traditions. For example some of
the traditions were Confucianism, Buddhism, art and drama.
Some
might think that he would be a horrible ruler. One reason that people could
disagree with me is because some Chinese could have not liked any of the rules
that his grandfather made when he was in power. The opposing opinion is wrong
because he is following his grandfather’s foot steps and his grandfather was a
very good man and a wonderful ruler.
Again,
in conclusion everyone thinks that he will make a great ruler because his
grandfather was a great roll model throughout his entire lifetime.
