the Yuan Dynasty, Mongolia was not a separate country. The border of the Yuan Dynasty went
beyond the border of Mongolia.
The Southern Song had the city Hangzhou and the Yuan dynasty took over
most of modern day China. The
Southern Song controlled less land compared to the Yuan Dynasty.
